At Ready Vet Go, education is a core part of our mission.

As Australia’s dedicated veterinary ambulance service, we see first-hand how early recognition, calm decision-making, and timely intervention can change outcomes for pets and the people who care for them.

Our education programs are designed to support veterinary professionals, pet owners, workplaces, schools, and community groups with practical, engaging, real-world training delivered by experienced emergency veterinary professionals.

Whether you are a veterinary clinic looking to strengthen your team’s emergency response skills, or a pet owner wanting to feel more confident in a crisis, Ready Vet Go offers education that is accessible, relevant, and grounded in real clinical experience.

Education for Veterinary Teams

Training designed for real-world emergency practice

Ready Vet Go provides in-clinic and group-based education for veterinarians, veterinary nurses, students, and animal care professionals.

Our training is designed to be practical, confidence-building, and directly applicable to the cases veterinary teams encounter in general practice, urgent care, emergency hospitals, and transport settings.

Sessions can be tailored to suit the size, experience level, and needs of your team.

Education topics may include:

  • Veterinary CPR and emergency response training
  • Triage and stabilisation principles
  • Recognising the deteriorating patient
  • Emergency transport and referral preparation
  • Toxicology and common pet poisoning presentations
  • Communication during stressful clinical situations
  • Team-based emergency workflows
  • Veterinary wellbeing and suicide prevention awareness

Education for Veterinary Teams

Helping teams respond with confidence when a patient arrests

Ready Vet Go offers practical CPR training workshops for veterinary clinics and animal care teams.

Our CPR workshops are designed to help veterinary teams feel more comfortable, coordinated, and prepared when managing a critical patient who has arrested, while also helping teams recognise and respond to pre-arrest warning signs.

Each workshop is typically delivered as a two-hour session, broken into:

1-hour theory session

Covering CPR principles, team roles, communication, preparation, and emergency response concepts.

1-hour practical session

Your team works together in groups to perform a simulated CPR scenario, putting their new skills into practice in a realistic clinical setting.

We recommend clinics either close or operate at reduced capacity during the workshop where possible, so the whole team can be present and get the most out of the session.

For the practical component, we recommend a group size that allows each participant to be actively involved in the drills. Larger teams may benefit from multiple sessions or a tailored format.

This 2 hour session qualifies for 4 Victorian Veterinary Board CPDpoints&2 AVNAT Approved CPD points. A certificate is available upon request as Proof of Study.

What We Provide

Ready Vet Go supplies the equipment and resources required for the session. All we need from your clinic is:

  • A space for your team to sit and participate
  • Access to an area where we can show training resources
  • A treatment, prep, or clinical space to simulate a real-life crash scenario

We can bring a projector and projector screen if required.

During the training, we can also provide your team with an overview of Ready Vet Go’s services and, where appropriate, a tour of the ambulance so your team can see how we support clinics, clients, and patients through urgent care and ambulance transport.
