Co-Founder, Chief Veterinarian

Originally from the United States, Dr. Paul obtained his Veterinary Degree before completing a Small Animal Rotating Internship, laying the foundation for his career in emergency and critical care. He went on to work for many years in academia and a busy multi-specialty hospital, where he developed a deep passion for teaching and complex case management. After moving down under, Paul continued to advance his skills and education, achieving Membership to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Emergency and Critical Care. Known for his calm, measured approach and ability to explain even the most complex medical situations with empathy, Paul is deeply dedicated to improving outcomes for pets and their people. Outside of work, Paul enjoys exploring the Australia outdoors, gardening, & spending time with his partner Nic & their cats.

Co-Founder, Operations Manager

Nic’s background is originally in human nursing, where he gained extensive experience working in the field of neurotrauma, neurosurgery, & acquired brain injury rehabilitation. Holding a degree in both Human Nursing and Paramedicine, Nic developed a strong foundation in critical thinking, rapid assessment, and complex care coordination before he entered the veterinary world. Combining his human health expertise with his love of animals, Nic brings a unique perspective to veterinary emergency care with an integration of human medicine into veterinary medicine. Nic ensures every patient receives both clinical excellence and genuine compassion. When he is not engaged with the Ready Vet Go team, you will find Nic veggie gardening, enjoying live music & catching up on the latest horror movie.
